An Essential Service? Urgent Prayer Request

Please pray that my visa to enter Cameroon will be granted. My first application for the visa was rejected on the grounds that my going to Cameroon wasn’t perceived by the Cameroon embassy officials in Washington, DC as essential. So Dr. Tamfu wrote this letter and obtained these government signatures to persuade them that my presence in Cameroon is “essential.” I have tickets to fly to Yaounde in several days. Please pray that God will open a door that no one can shut. We also acknowledge that he can shut a door that no one can open (see Revelation 3:7; Acts 16:7). God is sovereign and he is good—all the time. hIs Word is essential (Matthew 4:4). Who the teacher of his Word is negotiable (1 Corinthians 3:7). Please pray in faith as God leads you. Thank you for your love and prayers and support of this ministry. I am currently teaching students in Yaounde through zoom. God is meeting us! But we all agree face to face is better.
