Our mission is to strengthen churches by means of theological education, church-planting and outreach to the least reached peoples of Cameroon and beyond.
We pray God will use our efforts to draw together, contextualize and implement proven resources that will promote the faithful preaching, teaching and application of God’s Word. May this happen in such a way that leaders will not only be trained to faithfully exegete Scripture and wisely apply it in African contexts, but will become trainers of others, who will train others, who will train others…

Dieudonne was a barber. This was his barber shop, but…
…his life was changed when some seminary students came into his barbershop and challenged him to consider the person and work of Jesus Christ. He was annoyed. He began to study the Bible so he could refute them. The barber is now the Executive Director of the Bethlehem College & Seminary Extension Site in Cameroon, Central Africa. He is a pastor and an educator with a big vision, a humble dependence on his Lord, and a passion to teach the Good News of God’s Word to the peoples of Cameroon and beyond.

Ever since a prayer meeting in 1984 Cameroon has been on his heart, leading him to live there with his family for a season, to make countless trips to Cameroon and to disciple several Cameroonian leaders here in Minneapolis.
After serving for 40 years as a pastor and teacher at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis, God has led Tom to link arms with Training Leaders International and the Tamfus to exponentially multiply pastoral training and enrichment for the current and future pastors and Christian leaders of Yaounde and beyond.

With 1.3 billion people as of 2018, it accounts for about 16% of the world's population.
Cameroon is strategically located in Central Africa. Yaounde is the capital city. The international airport Aéroport international de Yaoundé-Nsimalen makes Yaounde a strategic hub city in Africa.
