I have always marveled at the home-made toys parents would make for their children or the children would make for themselves. Here’s a bike made out of spare parts and random pieces of wood. The little boy was delighted for us to take a picture and show off his bike. I remember watching a big group of children playing football (soccer) with a bunch of castaway rags rolled into a boll. The competition was intense and somehow the ball survived.
